After School CSL Class
Champion Chinese as Second Language (CSL) program, as one of the Mandarin program has been operated for over ten years, enjoying growing popularity among American families in which the primary language are not Mandarin. The CSL curriculum is carefully designed and frequently evaluated by experienced educators. With a concentration on Communication skills in Mandarin, Champion unparalleled CSL class has developed a “studio-like” classroom setting and customize the curriculum for both individuals and the class as a whole to meet every need of a multi-level/multi-age population.
We focus more on lesson than tests; more on lifelong language learning than short-term goals; more on language learning skills that are transferable to other languages than one specific language.

Leadership and Global Competence
Facts of this CSL population - the majority of the prior and current CSL students have been expected to be more aware and develop their multi-cultural ability and international-mindedness with Champion CSL program to be more competitive in this globalized world. The parents with these expectations chose us because we strive to provide opportunities for every student to lead the team in daily activities and we promote effective communication and show them ways to build a relationship with peers and adults in the strong and safe community. We seek for oversea volunteering opportunities for young students.
Heritage A/B Class or CSL Class
Compared with Champion Heritage Mandarin A/B Class, CSL Class students at home have less help in Mandarin Listening and Conversation practices or there is a rather big language proficiency gap between their heritage class counterpart. To motivate CSL students to learn Mandarin, Champion CSL instructor implements curriculum and deliver knowledge in a creative way that enlightens and highly engages students; evaluates frequently to adjust teaching methods or teaching speed as needed; utilizes bilingual teaching to deepen understanding of a new language system.
